What matters in 30 seconds

The important parts in 30 seconds

  • If you enroll in an open cohort, the contract is with you (or with your company if it pays). If you contract a private program, we sign a specific commercial agreement.
  • 100% refund up to 7 days before the start. After that, 50% up to 48 hours before. After the first session you can transfer your seat to a third party, but not get a refund.
  • Materials are yours for internal use — not for resale or public redistribution.
  • Jurisdiction: Buenos Aires, Argentina. If something doesn't work as promised, email us first — we'd rather fix than fight.
01Who House of Commerce is

House of Commerce is the continuous-education practice of Visual Express S.A. (CUIT 30-68828107-4), a company with registered address at Gaspar Campos 647, B1638 Vicente López, Province of Buenos Aires, Argentina, trading commercially under the «House of Commerce» and «Visual Latina» trademarks (hereinafter, «we» or «HoC»).

These Terms and Conditions (hereinafter, «the Terms») govern the use of thehouseofcommerce.com and the training services we offer through it. By using the site or enrolling in a course, you accept these Terms in their entirety. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

02What services we offer

House of Commerce operates under two service modalities that can be contracted separately:

  • Open cohorts: programs with dates, syllabus and price published on the site. You enroll individually (or on behalf of your company) within defined timeframes.
  • Private programs (B2B): we design a tailored program for your organization, keeping the thematic framework of the source course but customizing modules, cases and duration. They are contracted via a specific commercial agreement signed between Visual Express S.A. and your company.

Additionally, we offer free content (newsletter, podcast, downloadable resources) subject to these same Terms.

03Who can enroll

To enroll in any House of Commerce program you need:

  • To be at least 18 years old and have legal capacity to contract.
  • To provide truthful, accurate and up-to-date information when enrolling.
  • When a company pays for you, to have authorization to bind it on its behalf.

We reserve the right to reject or cancel enrollments when we detect false information, attempted fraud or uses incompatible with the professional nature of the program.

04Use of the site

You can use the site to learn, subscribe to the newsletter, download resources, request courses and book calls. We ask you not to:

  • Try to access non-public parts of the site, bypass security measures or reverse-engineer the code.
  • Use bots, scrapers or automated tools that affect performance or violate our providers' terms of use.
  • Republish site content without express attribution and a return link.
  • Upload illegal, infringing, defamatory, discriminatory content or content that violates third-party rights.
  • Impersonate another person or cause confusion about your professional identity.
05Enrollment, prices and payments

When you enroll in an open cohort, you accept:

  • The program, dates, format and price stated on the course page at the time of purchase.
  • To pay the stated amount in the indicated currency (mostly USD, ARS or MXN depending on the cohort). Payments are processed via MercadoPago, Stripe or another authorized processor — we never receive your card data or any banking information.
  • That enrollment is confirmed once payment is credited. If you pay in installments, you must keep the installments up to date during the cohort.

For private programs (B2B), the price and conditions are agreed in the specific commercial agreement — this section does not govern them where the agreement states otherwise.

We reserve the right to reschedule a cohort for reasonable causes (speaker illness, insufficient seats, government restrictions). In that case we offer reassignment to a following cohort or 100% refund — you choose.

06Refunds, cancellations and transfers

Policy applicable to open cohorts (private programs are governed by their contract):

  • 100% refund: if you cancel up to 7 calendar days before the cohort starts.
  • 50% refund: if you cancel between 7 days and 48 hours before the start.
  • No refund: after the 48-hour mark or once the cohort has started. However, you can transfer your seat to another person on your team by notifying us by email up to the day before the next session.
  • Refund due to force majeure: if we suspend or reschedule the cohort, the refund is 100%.

Refunds are processed via the same original payment method within up to 15 business days. Any currency conversion costs or local taxes are at the requester's expense.

07Delivery of the educational service

For each open cohort we commit to deliver:

  • The sessions detailed in the activity plan published on the course page, with the announced speakers or equivalent-level replacements when necessary.
  • Complementary materials (slides, templates, exercises) during or after each session.
  • Access to session recordings (where applicable) for at least 90 days after the cohort ends.
  • Printed and/or digital certification upon meeting the attendance and assignment delivery requirements defined for each program.

For private programs, delivery is agreed in the specific commercial agreement and prevails over this section.

08Recordings and conduct in class

In-person and online sessions may be recorded for pedagogical and review purposes. By participating in a session, you authorize the recording of your image, voice and contributions during the dynamic, exclusively for internal use of the program and participants.

We will not use the recordings for commercial purposes without your additional written consent. If you prefer not to appear in the recording, let us know before the session and we'll arrange a camera setup or seating assignment that respects that.

We expect professional and respectful treatment among participants and toward the speakers. Harassment, discrimination, sabotage or resale of material are grounds for immediate suspension without right to refund.

09Intellectual property

The site, the materials of each course (slides, templates, exercises, recordings, frameworks), the «House of Commerce» and «Visual Latina» trademarks and all associated distinctive signs are the property of Visual Express S.A. and/or the individual speakers as applicable, protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

By enrolling, we grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license limited to internal use by you or your team. You may not:

  • Republish, resell or publicly redistribute the material.
  • Offer derivative courses that substantially reuse our content.
  • Share the recordings and materials with non-enrolled people.
  • Remove watermarks, attributions or copyright notices.

Practical assignments, cases and deliverables that you produce within the course are yours. If you want to share them publicly with reference to HoC, please let us know to coordinate attribution.

10Comments and feedback

If you send us feedback, suggestions or testimonials (by email, forms, social), we appreciate it. By doing so you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use that input in internal improvement materials and brand communication, always keeping the possibility of identifying you or quoting anonymously according to your preference. If you want us to remove a public comment, email us.

11About course outcomes

We do what's reasonable so the site and courses work as promised. However, we don't guarantee specific commercial outcomes from applying what's learned — that depends on your organization's context, execution, team, resources and many variables outside our control. What we do guarantee is the quality of the program, the caliber of the speakers and the delivery of the described materials.

Some programs include content on AI and automated tools. That content is informational and educational — it does not constitute legal, tax, medical, financial or regulated professional advice. For critical decisions, consult specialized advisors in your jurisdiction.

12Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Visual Express S.A. is not liable for:

  • Indirect, consequential damages, lost profits or loss of commercial opportunities arising from use of the site or courses.
  • Third-party failures (payment providers, hosting, connectivity) that temporarily affect the service.
  • Business decisions you make based on course content.

The maximum economic liability of Visual Express S.A. toward each participant is fixed at the amount actually paid for the cohort involved. This limitation does not apply to damages caused by intent or gross negligence, nor to consumer rights that Argentine law declares non-waivable.

13Force majeure

Neither party is liable for breaches arising from force majeure or fortuitous events: natural catastrophes, armed conflicts, health or government restrictions, widespread outages of public services or connectivity, general strikes, cyberattacks against critical infrastructure and similar. In such cases, obligations are suspended for the duration of the event and resume as soon as possible; enrollments are reassigned to the next available cohort or refunded 100%.

14Personal data processing

The processing of your personal data is governed by the Privacy Policy available at /privacy, which forms an integral part of these Terms and is considered incorporated by reference.

15Changes and termination

We may modify these Terms when reasonable (regulatory changes, product launches, operational adjustments). Modifications will be communicated and we'll ask for your consent. They are published on this page with the effective date and, when material, we notify you by email at least 15 days in advance. If you keep using the site after that date, we understand that you accept the updated version.

We may suspend or terminate your access to the site or a course for serious breach of these Terms (fraud, abusive conduct, resale of material). In such cases no refund applies. You may terminate the contractual relationship at any time by email notification; obligations arising before termination (pending payments, confidentiality, intellectual property) remain in force.

16Applicable law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Argentine Republic. Any controversy will be resolved before the ordinary courts of the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires or any other established by legislation.

For B2B contracts (private programs), the parties may agree in the specific commercial agreement on a different venue or alternative resolution mechanism (mediation or arbitration), which will prevail over what is established in this section.

If you are a consumer under Law 24.240 on Consumer Protection, the non-waivable rights granted to you by that law are not affected by these Terms. For consumer claims in Argentina, you can contact the Servicio de Conciliación Previa en las Relaciones de Consumo (COPREC) or the enforcement authority of your province.

17General provisions
  • Severability: if a court declares a clause invalid or unenforceable, the others remain in force.
  • No waiver: our not exercising a right at a given moment does not imply future waiver.
  • Assignment: you may not assign your enrollment except via the transfer route described in section 06. We may assign rights and obligations under these Terms in the context of corporate reorganizations, notifying you.
  • Language: This Spanish version is the legal reference. The English version is a convenience translation; in case of discrepancy, the Spanish version prevails.
  • Contact: for any inquiry about these Terms, martina.diantonio@visuallatina.com.
