About us

The house behind the hub

House of Commerce comes out of 30 years of Visual Latina working with the brands that move commerce in LATAM and the world.

How we got here

It started at a shopper desk

In 1995 Visual Latina opened its Buenos Aires office around one idea: the shopper doesn't decide in the boardroom — they decide at the shelf. Three decades on, we still believe it. The shelf just changed shape.

We've worked with Coca-Cola, P&G, Mondelēz, Sanofi, Walmart, Unilever, FEMSA and the rest of the companies moving commerce across the region. Along the way we built something more valuable than a portfolio: a network of senior practitioners who could teach, but had nowhere to teach.

That's House of Commerce. Not an academy, not an MBA. The place where those operators teach what they ran last week — no packaged theory, no off-the-shelf frameworks, with cases that still smell like the meeting they came out of.

Founded in 2024. 25 courses, 17 instructors, 7 countries of reach, one goal: send your team back on Monday with something concrete to ship.

Our approach

How we work

Three principles that show up in every decision: who we put in the room, what we publish, what we charge, what we turn down.

01

Practice before theory

Instructors are active operators. If you aren't running it or consulting on it right now, you aren't at the front of the room. The curriculum gets rewritten every course because the market keeps rewriting itself.

Not: a stack of Harvard papers.

02

Community over individuals

Value sits with the group, not a star instructor. Courses run 12–24 so relationships outlast the course. Alumni still call each other two years later.

Not: a pre-recorded Coursera course.

03

Measurable outcomes

Every course ships an artifact: a plan, a matrix, a dashboard, a pilot. We measure in sell-out, ROAS, NPS — whatever applies. If it doesn't get measured, it didn't happen.

Not: “now you think differently about commerce.”

House of Commerce workshop with teams in the room

Workshops that connect entire teams. Not isolated individuals. Small courses, intensive days, applicable frameworks. Alumni still working together years later.

Who backs us

Backed by Visual Latina

House of Commerce is the continuous-education practice of Visual Latina, the consultancy that has worked with the most relevant commerce brands in LATAM, the US and Europe since 1995.

We aren't an ed-tech startup that discovered the market. We're the operation that knew it from the inside and decided to open the classroom.
